There are so many areas in our life, so many entities that has potential to be unbalanced. If your unbalanced in one, there’s a good chance the others will fall out of line as well. Then we come with the questions to ourself…
What is balance?
Balance, is centered. Not too much, not too little.
As humans, it’s not that easy to set boundaries for ourself, to understand how much is too much, or too little.
Balance is needed in every aspect. Without it, life will be stressful, you can feel like your life is upside down, confused, unable to move forward.
How can you find success, without any balance in your life?
You can’t. Lack of stability, causes lack of focus, lack of understanding, sometimes even lack of ambition.
Life is too beautiful, too fragile to feel so low, so lacking.
What needs to be balanced?
Making a list of priorities in your life can be the first step to achieving balance.
Number one, should always be yourself. Your health, mental health, your hobbies, pleasure and so on. You may have a habit of over doing the things you love, to the point you find yourself in trouble. Maybe you can have the habit of under doing it. Never giving yourself that time to relax, putting too much time into things that cause you stress, or even too much effort into making other people happy. Putting yourself at the bottom of the list is the best way to lack balance, control, and peace of mind.
Number two, of course relationships/lovers/marriage, or even friends/family.
Similar to of course putting yourself at the bottom of the list, but the difference is, you may be too proud to accept help. Only doing for others but not letting them do for you. This can be very problematic, leading to broken relationships, lack of trust, security. Another issue that can arise is you do for others, go that extra mile, put your heart into everything and they don’t offer the same back. Those type of people do not deserve your attention, or your time. Your pouring yourself away, until there’s nothing left for you. Stop pleasing others constantly and start pleasing yourself!
Number three, career/school.
You may have a hard time leaving work and work, and home and home. Colliding the two stresses are the best recipe for a disaster. You must be able, to leave the two, personal, and work, at the door.
At times you may even find yourself having a hard time corresponding at work/school, because your too occupied thinking of your personal life, and vise verse, you can be checked out around friends/family, because your still thinking of work.
How do I balance them all?
Again easier said then done, but firstly stop and analyze yourself. Do you have trouble balancing one, or all areas. Start making yourself your main priority, finding what makes you happy, and reach for your goals. Start cutting out the things, or even people that are tipping the scale over. Seek counseling, we are here to not only give readings, but to listen! Holding things in, is a very big part of feeling uneven, so let it out, let’s talk about it.
